Job DescriptionCompany Description
Talento Search Group has an opening for an experienced CNC Machinist in the Dallas, North Carolina area. This is a direct hire, 1st shift position with a starting pay of $25 - $32 per hour depending on experience and capabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Setup and operation of multiple axis CNC machines
- Use of CAM for machine programming, editing and writing (or write G-Coding from scratch for machine setups)
- Set up of "Live Tooling"
- Use of precision measurement tooling for setups and quality checks
- Maintain proper inventory of hand tools and inspection equipment
- Record product and processing data
- Ability to interpret blueprints / schematics
Experience Needed:
- Associates Degree in Machine Shop Technology is highly preferred
- At least 3 years of CNC machining experience with Mills and Lathes
- Strong experience performing changeovers and live tooling
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to produce parts with tight tolerances
- MasterCam, GibbsCam or similar high preferred or ability to write G-Coding from scratch for machine
