Job Description
We are looking for a full-time prep cook to enhance our breakfast and lunch menu and provide consistent, exciting options!
Lyric Coffee House is Clayton's only specialty coffee shop here in the beautiful 1000 Islands. Since opening our doors in 2006, we have maintained a reputation of quality coffee in a comfy environment for locals and visitors alike! Open year round, employees are able to rely on work through the slower fall and winter months and closing at 4pm, you have evenings to yourself.
Pay/Benefits

Responsibilities
- Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes
- Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
- Basic cooking functions such as cooking eggs and preparing sauces
- Label stock and inventory all ingredients
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and listen to team members
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as a Prep Cook a plus
- Proven experience in food service and hospitality
- High integrity and reliability as a person and a member of our team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Job commitment - year-round

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $15.00 - $18.00/hour.
