Objective

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by leading and overseeing the entire organization. This includes strategic planning, operational supervision, team development, customer experience, financial management, quality, talent acquisition, community, performance, and communication.


What you will do with our support and your expertise:

  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and implementing business growth strategies for both Fairbanks and Anchorage locations.
  • Operational Assessment and Improvement: Conduct a SWOT analysis, to-be future planning, gap analysis, gap closure processes.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee operations across all locations, ensuring overall efficiency and adherence to company standards.
  • Hi-Performance Culture and Human Capital Development: With the CEO, design, develop, and implement human-centric programs for leadership and team development, operational quality and performance, and financial growth and profitability to achieve organizational goals.
  • Customer Experience: Design, develop, and implement an industry-leading 5-Star customer experience program.
  • Financial Management: Together with the senior leaders, collaborate with company financial planning. Manage the teams to the planned financial forecasts and budgets as well as resource allocation of the company.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Help design, develop, implement, and ensure company-wide adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Participate in the existing and continuous improvement of our recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Community Engagement: Participate with the senior leadership team on maintaining operational key partners and stakeholders in Fairbanks and Anchorage locations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication across the organization and with key stakeholders.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in general management within an automotive multi-shop organization.
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of the independent automotive industry, including industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to reach shop goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple shops simultaneously.
