Cogir Senior Living is hiring compassionate and energetic Care Partners (Caregivers) in our brand-new, beautiful retirement community Peninsula Pointe.

Our Care Partners provide direct care to our senior residents, following a personalized treatment plan. If you are kind, compassionate, and genuinely desire to make meaningful connections with our residents, a Cogir community may be the place for you. Become part of our opening team!

Currently Hiring for: Full and Part-time - 8-hr shifts - all shifts available. Weekend availability preferred!

What will you do as a Care Partner?

• Assist in activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, while following community protocol, licensing regulations, and guidelines for both resident and employee safety.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to the residents by providing compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
• Encourage and assist with participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.

If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:

• Positive team player attitude and love working with people!
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by a state agency or the willingness/ability to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is a plus!
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
