Social Content Marketing Specialist
General Summary
We seek a Social Content Marketing Specialist to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective content marketing campaigns.
Essential Job Functions
- Email / Phone / Social Analytics
- Social content posting organization and strategies to popular social media networks (FB, IG, X, TikTok, etc)
- Monitor industry activity to alert the staff to popular trends online
- Understand the company's target market to develop promotion strategies.
- Conducts other duties as needed with guidance from the Sales & Marketing department.
- Demands strong writing skills and the ability to create compelling news pitches for social posts & media.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must be proficient in caption writing & social media platforms.
- Must have knowledge of social media analytical platforms (e.g. Hootsuite/Sprout Social)
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills (including proofreading).
- Must have excellent social and communications skills.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Must be self-motivated and work well both supervised and unsupervised.
- Work in a team environment with passion and aptitude for creativity.
- Must meet deadlines.
- Must be comfortable using various types of technology.
Physical Requirements
- Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to use a computer for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Hearing: Must communicate with guests, vendors, and staff members.
