At 1888 Industrial Services, we cover a wide range of industrial markets and provide services for oil & gas, commercial & industrial piping systems, full paint/coating shop services, and general commercial and industrial sectors. The Recruiter supports the company with acquiring talent for the Colorado area, (Texas and New Mexico when needed) including posting job ads, sourcing, interviewing, and responding to candidate inquiries. Bring your creativity with you! Fluent Bilingual Spanish/English Required!

Responsibilities

  • Proactively sources candidates, initiates phone screens, schedules interviews with management and HR, attends if needed, and facilitates the hiring of qualified applicants.
  • Creates interview questions for each role.
  • Implement new recruitment initiatives.
  • Run pre-employment process including but not limited to background checks, MVR, Clearinghouse Query, PSP, and drug screens.
  • Uses social media and other online channels to attract candidates.
  • Partners with colleges and schools for Internship programs.
  • Establishes partnerships with Supervisors and Managers to understand recruitment needs. Bi-weekly or as-needed calls with management to make sure hiring needs are met.
  • Participates in job fairs, recruitment events, and community functions to help in the recruitment of qualified candidates.
  • Facilitates new hire orientation and onboarding if needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management and employment law.
  • Participates in writing job descriptions as needed.
  • The position will travel to our Greeley location when needed.
  • Travel to TX and NM 1-2 times per quarter.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
  • A minimum of 1 year’s full-cycle recruiting experience is preferred.
  • Oil & Gas experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Fluent bilingual Spanish/English Required!

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
