Scalehouse Attendant

National Star Services is a 26-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of a scalehouse attendant for a recycling faicility in Elk Grove, IL 60007.

Responsibilities for this Position include:

• In this role the employee will operate the scale house to record weights, generate basic billing information, and accept payments for drop -off and sales
• Identify contents of each load
• Conduct scale operation
• determine weight and enter into computer system
• Calculate payments due from customers

• Communicate with all customers coming on-site, answering questions, and directing them to appropriate areas for unloading

Schedule: Monday to Friday (must have availability to work weekends)

Second shift: 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Third shift: 9:00 pm to 6:00 am

Pay rate: $19.00/hour (Biweekly pay)

Requirements:

• Must be bilingual
• Must wear work boots
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Knowledge with computer systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to get to work
• Able to understand and carry out written instructions
• Background check
• Drug test
