Job Summary:


The Front Desk- Floater at Holiday Inn Express - Marina State Beach is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel. As a Floater, you will be responsible for assisting and covering various positions in the front desk department including but not limited to guest services, reservations, and night audit. This is a part-time hourly position, perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and customer service. The job is located in Marina, California and is an individual contributor role.

Compensation & Benefits:


The Front Desk- Floater will receive a competitive hourly rate of $16 to $16.5 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, this position offers the following benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience
- Greet and check-in guests, process reservations and payments, and assist with any guest inquiries or requests
- Conduct night audit duties such as balancing daily transactions, creating reports, and performing end-of-day procedures
- Respond promptly to all guest concerns and issues, escalating to management as needed
- Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, local area attractions, and hotel policies and procedures
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Cover and assist with other front desk positions as needed, including telephone operator and reservations
- Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff
- Other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager or General Manager

Schedule:

Shifts may be 11am-7pm, 3pm-7pm, 6pm-11pm

Training will include:

AM shift (7am-3pm) 2 Weeks

PM shift (3pm-11pm) 2 Weeks

NA Shift (11pm-7am) 2 Weeks

Pay Rate: $16 if willing to do NA it will be $16.50

After training: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday

11am-7pm on Saturday and Sunday

3pm-7pm or 3pm-8pm Tuesday and Thursdays


Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of front desk or customer service experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of hotel computer systems and software, such as Opera, is a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to work in Marina, California
