Established over 50 years ago, this well-established Portland company specializes in building materials for commercial, residential, and government contractors. Offering a wide range of construction supplies to meet the needs of their clients, this dedicated team delivers and provides will-call pick-up options for clients across all 6 of their growing locations.

Overview
As the Administrative Accounting Assistant, you will work closely with the internal accounting and operations teams, assisting with data entry projects. With multiple locations across the Portland metro area, you'll be assisting with all incoming and outgoing paperwork, vendor reporting, invoicing and billing processes, and help with maintaining new and current purchase orders are organized, processed and finalized.

Responsibilities
  • Enter purchase orders into database
  • Monitor aging invoices from vendors
  • Review and audit invoices
  • Processing and sending checks
  • Reviewing vendor paperwork
  • Making copies
  • Filing documents
  • Completing assigned projects/tasks

Qualifications and Skills
  • 4+ years of recent office admin experience
  • 1+ year of recent accounting experience
  • Sage software experience highly preferred
  • 10-key by touch
  • Experience within construction and/or related service trades
  • Ability to quickly learn and self-instruct (follow directions)
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to daily projects
  • Legible and neat hand-writing skills
  • Accurate data entry skills

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00AM - 4:00PM)

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 Hourly
