Job Description
Position Title: Electrician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical theory and safety practices and the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain wiring, lighting fixtures, and electrical appliances in homes and buildings.
  • Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, such as circuit overload or faulty wiring
  • Repair and replace faulty electrical components and equipment, such as switches, transformers, and motors.
  • Upgrade electrical systems to meet current safety codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and HVAC technicians, to coordinate work on construction sites
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest developments in electrical technology and safety practices
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
  • Journeyman or a master electrician license
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory and safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and agility.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
