Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations, and community members. Your primary responsibility will be to drive referrals to our nursing homes and home health businesses by promoting our services, fostering partnerships, and ensuring our reputation as a trusted care provider.
Responsibilities
1. Build and Nurture Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, clinics, social workers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals in the Gillette, Wyoming area.
2. Market and Promote Services: Effectively communicate the unique benefits and services offered by our businesses to healthcare providers, patients, and their families.
3. Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth, including potential partnerships, referral networks, and outreach strategies.
4. Community Engagement: Represent our businesses at community events, health fairs, and seminars to raise awareness and connect with potential referral sources.
5. Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze referral trends, market conditions, and competitors to adapt marketing strategies and improve referral performance.
6. Compliance: Ensure all marketing and outreach activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards in the healthcare industry.
7. Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the management team on marketing efforts, referral progress, and upcoming opportunities.
Travel
This role is responsible for driving referrals for several facilities in our portfolio and will require frequent travel. All approved travel costs will be reimbursed by the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Past experience in healthcare marketing and business development.
- Knowledge of the healthcare landscape in Gillette, Wyoming preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
