Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Pay rate: $17.00 an hour

What’s a typical day as a Production Packer professional? You’ll be:
• Following all rules outlined in the Personnel Manual
• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Assisting the Production Operator with start-up/shut-down
• Maintaining supplies in the work area such as tape and bags and advising when supplies are low
• Labeling, stacking and assembling boxes
• Ensuring the belt, scale, tape machine, and metal detector are functioning properly and are set correctly before the run begins. Reporting any problems/issues immediately to the Supervisor/Production Operator
• Verifying product quality and reporting any problems/issues/questions with product quality immediately to the Supervisor/Production Operator
• Placing rejected material into rework boxes
• Wrapping completed pallets and moving/aligning pallets
• Breaking down empty boxes from the area
• Removing trash as needed, at the end of the shift, and/or at the end of the day
• Asking for assistance when necessary

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have good communication skills
• Are able to follow all safety rules and guidelines
• Can lift up to 50lbs
• Are comfortable standing for long periods of time during the shift
• Have experience utilizing small hand tools such as box cutter, screwdriver and hammer
• Possess basic mathematical computation skills
• Are familiar with operating a pallet jack and/or forklift
• Have the ability to use a heat gun
• Are reliable and punctual
• Have attention to detail in labeling and assembling boxes
• Can maintain a clean work area
• Are able to work collaboratively with the Supervisor/Production Operator
• Have a strong work ethic and can perform tasks efficiently
