Paraprofessional Position Open

Soliant Education, in partnership with districts in the Exeter, PA area, is currently seeking dedicated individuals for school-based paraprofessional contract positions. The ideal candidates will have at least one year of recent experience in the field and meet all educational and licensing requirements set forth by local and state regulations. Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid paraprofessional certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet all educational and licensing requirements set forth by local and state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working in a school-based setting or with children in a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers and special education staff in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Support students with academic tasks, behavior management, and social-emotional development under the direction of supervisory staff.
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff members to promote a collaborative learning environment.
• Provide supervision and support during classroom activities, transitions, and other school-related functions.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required by the school district and Soliant Education.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to all relevant privacy laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff or administrators.
