Quantitative Researcher - Now Hiring

IT: Two Sigma Investments, LP seeks Quantitative Researcher in NY, NY. Incls but not limited to research, design, dvlp & back-test sophisticated, predictive quantitative fin'l models by using advanced math & stat modeling techniques; apply data mining, pattern recognition, linear algebra, machine learning & stat analysis incl generalized regression models, time series models, & natural language processing methods on lrg, unstructured textual data to extract trading signals. Co. "Hybrid" work attendance policy: In-office work attendance req'd at aforementioned office address for collab days based on each team's req'mt; telecommute/work from home permissible for remainder of same month. Must have Bachelor's or equiv in Math, CS, Stats, or rel field. Position does not req specific yrs exp but req's listed skills. Must have demonstrated knowl of stat analysis incl regression analysis, hypothesis testing, & machine learning methods for building predictive models. Must have demonstrated knowl of building deep learning models based on Natural Language Processing techniques. Must have demonstrated knowl of analyzing stat patterns from lrg datasets. Must have demonstrated knowl of using stat learning algorithms to perform hypothesis testing. Must have demonstrated knowl of Python & Python's stat libraries, incl numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib & scikit-learn. Must have demonstrated knowl of machine learning frameworks, incl PyTorch & TensorFlow. Must have demonstrated knowl of distributed computing framework, incl PySpark or Spark. Must have demonstrated knowl in probability, stats, & linear algebra. Must pass co.'s req'd skills assessment. Employer will accept any amount of academic coursework, or exp gained prior to completion of Bachelor's w/ req'd skills. Rate of pay: $165,000-$325,000/yr (may also be elig for other forms of compensation & bnfts).
