Accounting Clerk - Full-time

SUMMARY OF JOB: This position is for a full-time temporary engagement up to 16 weeks. The position will focus on daily tasks and if time permits assist with weekly and monthly duties for the accounting/finance team. Hours could be reduced if daily tasks are complete as approved by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Daily and monthly general ledger and internal account reconciliations.
2. Daily report monitoring to ensure compliance with internal controls.
3. Follow all bank financial and security regulations and procedures.

5. Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma

Work Experience: 1+ year experience in accounting or working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

Computer Skills: Proficient Microsoft Excel Skills

Other Requirements: Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Able to communicate with professionals at all levels. Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team. Able to adapt to changing priorities. Detail-oriented. A team player.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service: Strong emphasis on excellent customer service skills; ability to work effectively with both internal and external contacts. Maintains confidentiality in handling customer and bank information.

Financial: Reconciliations, Monitoring

The applicant who is selected for this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Targeted hiring range based on experience: $20 - $25 hourly. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications and other considerations permitted by law under the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules.
