Position Summary:

Midwest Tape and hoopla Digital are looking for a talented email marketing coordinator who is passionate about email marketing. Responsibilities include concepting, writing, and creating email campaigns and landing pages for B2B efforts in Salesforce Pardot Lightning. Day-to-day tasks will include working with stakeholders to build out email calendars, draft compelling copy, execute email builds, test, and assist with Salesforce Landing page creation. A working knowledge of html will be helpful. The ideal candidate will also have a deep appreciation for public libraries. We are proud to serve public libraries globally and are seeking like-minded individuals who want to join our team to help libraries continue to provide increasing value to their patrons and communities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must fulfill the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements listed below.

  • Assist the email platform manager on day-to-day today activities including planning, development, deployment, and reporting across various digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with broader Marketing team and other key company stakeholders across departments.
  • Work with internal and external resources to develop compelling and effective emails.
  • Support an environment of transparency and continual optimization.
  • Assist in performance reporting leveraging available metrics in the continual optimization of messaging, partnering with internal and external analytics resources as needed.
  • Convey and foster a sense of community and build our following based on valuation content and mutual sharing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on new and developing email trends.
  • Seek out and maintain expert-level knowledge of current events as well as relevant industry-specific trends.
  • Follow all policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other functions as required, including any work assignments relating to the efficient flow of work within Midwest Tape.


Skills:

  • Expertise in using MS Office software and Internet research and scheduling tools.
  • Have a good knowledge of email marketing principles including segmentation and multi-channel drip campaigns.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively under pressure, time and resource management.
  • Must be comfortable gathering and reporting technical information to stakeholders.
  • Solid organizational and detail skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in team and individual environments – self-motivated and flexible.
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Knowledge of current events, specifically related to entertainment with a focus on publishing and video.

Required Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience of professional or internship experience
  • Experience with planning, testing, launching, monitoring, optimizing and measuring digital marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Knowledge in the company’s email platform Salesforce Pardot and html.
  • Proficiency in using personal computer and various office software packages including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, calendaring, and email management.
