As an up & coming residential remodeling & construction company, we are in need of a hardworking full-time Crew Leader! As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a construction crew to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications. You will be a key player in guiding and motivating your team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. Compensation:

$30 - $40 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and motivate a construction crew, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, sub-contractors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all crew members. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain quality standards by inspecting work in progress and ensuring compliance with construction plans and specifications.
  • Resource Management: Manage crew resources effectively, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, such as delays, conflicts, or unexpected challenges.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to crew members to enhance their skills and performance. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily progress reports, materials used, and any deviations from the original plan.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and expectations.
  • Budget Adherence: Assist in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs by optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a construction leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully managing and coordinating construction projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading construction plans, blueprints, and specifications. Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Safety Consciousness: Deep understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices. Certification in OSHA standards preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Physical Fitness: Good physical condition with the ability to perform tasks that require manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or training in construction management or related fields are a plus.
