Loader Operator

Job Snapshot:

• Our loader operators operate heavy equipment including commercial sized forklifts with 14-foot forks and standard forklifts.
• Will be responsible for supporting operations by moving vehicles and equipment throughout yard, monitoring lot inventory and vehicle check-in, and responding to production, warehousing, and transportation needs.
• Unloading car haulers and staging cars for inventory department
• Supporting with dismantling by bringing un-processed cars to dismantlers and placing vehicles back in the yard
• Crushing vehicles that have reached their useful life
• Loading scrap haulers with crushed cars that are ready for final disposal
• Maintaining inventory locations and integrity of vehicles

Minimum Requirements:

• Heavy equipment operation experience required.
• Automotive mechanic experience required, as our loader operators at this site also remove car parts.
• Previous heavy equipment operating, general maintenance and understanding of mechanical equipment.
• Automotive industry/parts background a plus.
• Basic computer skills
