Servers sell and serve food and drinks in a professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Serve three to four tables as determined by management
• Maintain complete knowledge of restaurants food and beverage preparation
• Sell alcohol and food items
• Enter and complete customers orders on computer system; accept different types of payment and make change
• Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner; ensure guests complete satisfaction by exceeding their expectations
• Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
• Clear and reset tables
• Check identification of guests to consuming alcoholic beverages; refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age
• Observe the behavior of guests who have consumed alcoholic beverages, count the number of drinks served, and offer a taxi for those who should not drive, and ask for manager assistance with disorderly customers as needed
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy
• Perform other duties as directed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better
• State alcohol server license and food handlers card required
• Basic mathematical skills; ability to make change
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous training experienced preferred

• Multi-task oriented
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

• Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items
