How you will contribute:
* Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies
* Reviews supplier purchase order confirmations for accuracy, and product selection, and mitigate any discrepancies in a timely matter
* Prepare requests for quotations to meet technical specifications and competitive pricing necessary for decision-making
* Demonstrates a basic level of product knowledge and application
* Monitors the timeliness of materials and goods supplied; follow-up on the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery; expedites material as needed and communicates status of orders with internal customers
* Process administrative and price updates for system applications to maintain pricing and data for estimation and purchasing purposes
* Utilize business intelligence dashboards and reports to prioritize and drive down key department metrics
* Publish reports and metrics as required for the Supply Chain department
* Identify and execute opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvements, and process efficiencies
* Process invoice discrepancies through workflow and document product returns and credits in a timely manner
What you need to qualify:
* Associate's degreein a related field/program
* One year of prior relevant experience is preferred
* Microsoft Office (especially Excel) proficiency
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
* Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail
