About the Job:


The position of Pricing Coordinator will have primary responsibility to provide pricing leadership and support for all new and existing customers. The employee will also be responsible for building and maintaining subject matter expertise on current service areas. They will follow and support our pricing guidelines, recommended new vendors and route options. This position interacts internally and externally with: Sales, Customer Service, vendors, and direct customers.


In This Role, You Will:

  • Analyze customer request to determine the service offerings needed to meet their requirements.
  • Determine best routing options, keeping in mind company profitability.
  • Present quotes to new and existing customers with the option that best fits their needs and ours.
  • Communicate with different vendors to accommodate requested quote.
  • Evaluate pricing and margin trends.
  • Evaluate the effects of pricing changes.
  • Understand company growth path and different service lanes offered.
  • Keep informed and up to date on industry competition.
  • Work with sales, and management on new and existing contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records and files of all quotes.
  • Excellent time management skills to organize and prioritize tasks to meet time sensitive request.
  • Perform other duties as assigned including back-up for other employees.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.

Required:

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

This is an in-office role based in Jacksonville, FL, USA
