WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN THIS UX DESIGNER ROLE?

  • Play a key role in transforming high-level product roadmap initiatives into robust features that fully serve the needs of our members
  • Compile research, create user flows, wireframe solutions, mockup UIs and design experiences
  • Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to come up with robust solutions to complex user experience challenges
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Product Managers and Software Engineers in a team environment
  • Define and maintain UX specifications and standards across all user facing web apps
  • Keep up with the latest trends and techniques in design, UI, and UX
  • Learn and implement new technologies and help evolve existing ones
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of the UX/UI team's processes, workflows, standards, and best practices in support of the broader team's product development methodology
  • Collaborate with other UX Designers to define and maintain UX/UI specifications and standards across all user-facing web apps
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality UX/UI output
  • Participate in transforming high-level product roadmap initiatives into robust features that serve the needs of our customers
  • Lead Design Workshops comprised of stakeholders with varying design experience
  • Compile and analyze research, create user flows, wireframe solutions, mockup UIs and design experiences
  • Keep up with the latest trends and techniques in design, UI, and UX
  • Learn and implement new technologies and help evolve existing ones

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS UX DESIGNER ROLE?

  • 2-4 years of UX/UI design experience crafting software in a team environment using user-centric principles
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using Lean UX or similar methodology
  • Portfolio displaying strong skills in UX and workflow design
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices, web standards, responsive design, typography and color, and web usability standards
  • Proficiency with wireframe and visual design tools such as Figma
  • Experience collaborating with a Product Manager
  • Experience conducting end-to-end UX research, including usability testing
  • Knowledge of design systems and related methodologies

SolidProfessor has determined that the new hire pay range for this role is between $85,000 and $110,000. Your base pay will be based on a number of factors, including knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, since base pay is only one part of our total compensation and benefits package, we invite you to review all of the amazing benefits (above) that SolidProfessor offers, such as paid days off for your birthday, community service, and paid parental leave; company match 401(k); etc.
