Project Manager - Competitive Insights

Position Summary:

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with multiple vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize resources and outcomes.
  • Coordinate project execution and communication between vendors and internal teams.

Competitive Intelligence Analysis:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret market data to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the retail mobile industry.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate data and create actionable insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.

Strategic Planning and Business Analytics:

  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Utilize analytics tools and techniques to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and track progress against goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in business planning, analytics, or related roles within the consumer electronics, mobile industry, and retail industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to multi-task many projects
  • Ability to develop or modify PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to write emails and send out meeting invites through Outlook
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in retail mobile sales or marketing.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and software.
  • Familiar with developing or modifying surveys
  • Familiar with market insight vendors
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
