Registered Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, grooming, and exercising animals
- Administer medications and treatments to animals as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples
- Perform animal catheterization and other diagnostic procedures
- Provide compassionate care to sick or injured animals
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations and procedures

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal care practices
- Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Ability to perform laboratory tests and analyze results
- Knowledge of pet grooming techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
