About the Role
As a Receptionist at the Buckner Family Hope Center at Bachman Lake, you will Shine Hope and serve as the first point of contact for our visitors. You will help shine hope through your positive interactions with our team members, visitors, and guests as you greet them when they enter the facility or when answering inquiries by phone. In this role, you will also provide support by receiving packages, scheduling, completing reports, taking meeting notes, and performing other administrative duties as assigned.

What You'll Do
As a member of our team you will have an impact on our program participants and visitors through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:

  • Greet all guests with hospitality, determine their purpose, and then notify the appropriate staff member.
  • Receive, process, and distribute mail.
  • Answer multiple line phone system and handle calls- taking and relaying messages as appropriate.
  • Answer general questions about the program services as needed.
  • Place orders for office supplies, break room supplies, and other items as requested.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks including, but not limited to, expense reports, monthly reports and other assigned tasks.
  • Receive and compile monthly reports from various team members and ensure they are complete in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy filing system; file confidential documents in a secure area to maintain confidentiality.
  • Assist the Administrative Assistant with scheduling and directing contracted service personnel.
  • Participate in trainings, employee meetings, and conferences to develop and enhance skills.

What You'll Bring to the Team
To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following:

  • High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) required.
  • Requires proficient ability to speak, read, and write English and Spanish professionally.
  • Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner.
  • Shining hope in others. (Your friendly attitude and willingness to learn is more important than a year's experience!)

Preferred Qualifications
