Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a busy family in Lincoln, NE, looking for a Nanny & Household Manager. This is a dynamic role that partners with a working mother to fully run the household while both parents are at work and provide a thriving environment for the children when they come home from school.


Position Overview

Our client is in search of a super organized and caring Nanny & Household Manager to help juggle life with their three awesome school-age kids and three pets. This isn't just a job; it's a partnership with the family. They don't expect you to do everything at once, but this role involves wearing many hats and being part of the family, making life smoother from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.


Key Responsibilities


1. Household Maestro:

  • Get things running like a well-oiled machine! Make sure the household chores, schedules, and routines are smooth sailing.
  • Be the team captain for the weekly housekeepers, landscape crew, maintenance personnel, and anyone else lending a hand.
  • Keep an eye on the household budget, get what's needed, and ensure the pantry is always stocked and organized.


2. Child Whisperer:

  • Give the kids the TLC they deserve. Keep them safe, happy, and thriving.
  • Assist with homework, assignments, and extracurricular activities, providing educational support.
  • Stay in tune with the childrens hearts to promote growth, responsibility, and desire to live out the family's core values.
  • Cook up fun activities and outings to keep them engaged and learning.
  • Provide school drop-off and pick-up, as well as shuttling to activities in the family vehicle.


3. Cleaning Guru:

  • Master the art of keeping the home clean, tidy, and organized.
  • Handle daily laundry for the entire family and basic housekeeping tasks.
  • Keep everything in its place and decluttered.


4. Culinary Artist:

  • Plan and prepare nutritious and balanced meals for the family, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Coordinate meal schedules to ensure timely and wholesome dining experiences.
  • Keep fresh veggies and fruit prepped and ready for easy snacking.
  • Monitor and restock kitchen supplies, groceries, and pantry items as needed.


5. Daily Routine Manager:

  • Establish and maintain daily schedules for the children, coordinating school drop-offs, pick-ups, and extracurricular commitments.
  • Hold children accountable for daily chores and responsibilities.
  • Ensure the children are properly dressed and groomed for each day's activities.


6. Household Harmony:

  • Manage the family calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and social events.
  • Assist with organizing and decluttering various areas of the home to maintain an organized and tidy environment.
  • Help plan and pull off family events and celebrations.
  • Make sure guests are treated with love and care.


Qualifications

  • You've got experience in household management, childcare, cleaning, or something similar.
  • You're an organizational whiz with a knack for juggling tasks.
  • Your communication skills are top-notch, and you're a people person.
  • You know your way around school-age kids and their unique needs.
  • First aid and CPR? You either have it or are ready to get it.
  • Tech-savvy? You can handle scheduling and keeping everyone connected.
  • Trustworthy and discreet, especially when it comes to family matters.
  • Clean background check and driving record.
  • You're open to working full-time from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay, ranging from $18-25 per hour, depending on experience.
