Wastequip mobile division Amrep is looking for a Receiving Specialist for our Salisbury, NC location who will be responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receipt, identification, dispatch, and quality assurance of products.
Responsibilities
- Unload, receive, identify and stock product.
- Ensure order accuracy vs dispatch list and updates system
- Organize and carry out inventory maintenance and storage area.
- Identify areas for improvement in warehouse area, establish innovative work practices and procedures or adapt existing ones.
- Continually update MRP/ERP Systems (BAP) with accurate information.
- Participate in 5S and promote Safety culture for warehouse area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Customer Service oriented
- 1-2 years prior experience working in a manufacturing industry, lean manufacturing and process improvement tools
- Demonstrated experience working with inventory systems
- Extensive forklift driving experience is preferred
- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication skills
