SUMMARY

Candidate handles financial and player services transactions for guests. Candidate performs the consolidation of transactions on a per-shift, per-cage basis to include front line windows, chip bank, employee bank and main bank. Candidate is accountable for maintaining the appropriate level of funds at Cage locations properly completing all required paperwork and reporting according to policy and procedure all while demonstrating a high level of guest service and accountability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate performs check cashing, customer deposit and withdrawal transactions, makes change for guests, exchange chips, sports vouchers, or gaming vouchers for cash.
Candidate will prepare customer jackpots, W2G, W9’s and all other tax forms. Candidate will also service the Table Games Department with all appropriate tax forms.
Accept payment on counter checks or return checks.
Candidate will post all information in the casino accounting system.
Candidate is accountable for all transactions and balances daily.
Prepares AML entries for compliance.
100% customer service focused, possesses good interpersonal skills, and be highly organized.
Must be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
Candidate enrolls new members in the Players’ Club and answers account questions. Must have a thorough knowledge of the point system.
Candidate may issue a complimentary/promotional expense in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
Candidate may assist with promotional giveaways as appropriate.
Must be knowledgeable on kiosk functions and promotions.
Candidate will assist with training new Cashier Services Representatives.
When assigned to the chip bank will prepare table fills and credits for an entire shift excluding breaks.
Issues house banks and assists with employee transactions when assigned to the employee bank.
When assigned to the main bank:
Performs the consolidation of transactions on a per-shift, per-cage basis.
Maintains the appropriate level of funds at the Cage locations.
During day and grave shift may also issue slot jackpots.
Buys the drop, rake or other cash from the Count Room.
Maintains the check bank for all counter checks, payments, consolidations and redemptions.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous cash handling experience is required.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from guests and other employees of the Company.

MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers and decimals. Able to use a multi-function calculator/adding machine.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables in non-standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Microsoft Office experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

Candidate must obtain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Commission.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no direct supervisory responsibilities with this position.
