Job Title: Material Handler
Pay rate: $25-$29/hr
Job Description:
The Materials Operator role involves off-loading bulk raw materials and finished goods, completing SAP and shipping documentation, and prioritizing tasks. Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are essential. The operator must work independently, prioritize safety and environmental concerns, and understand the importance of product quality, accurate inventory, and continuous improvement for customer satisfaction and overall success.

Responsibilities:
- Raw Material Management: Coordinate railcar switches, track raw material railcars, and facilitate unloading with production.
- SAP Operations: Handle bills of lading, goods receipt, post goods, and material movements in SAP.
- Development and Safety: Participate in training, SOP review, and contribute to safety and housekeeping.
- Cost and Waste Reduction: Minimize inventory variances, manage inventories, reduce unscheduled overtime, and minimize waste.
- Inventory and Hazardous Waste: Maintain accurate records, conduct cycle counts, and manage waste accumulation stations.
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and basic math skills.
- Familiarity with Hazardous Waste Regulations, DOT & IATA Regulations, and ISO practices.
- SAP experience is preferred.
