PotomacWave is looking for an Oracle Business Intelligence Expert to join our team supporting our Federal Client’s Data Warehouse located in Springfield, VA (Metro Accessible)! A successful candidate will have experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA). Responsibilities: Ability to advise the client on matters relating to the design and function of the Business Intelligence (BI) environment including reports, dashboards, data elements, and ad hoc querying, Experience in implementing Oracle U.S. Federal Financial Analytics in an OFF Release 12 environment. Experience designing, implementing, and modifying both standard and COTS Dashboards (analysis, objects, and reports). Capabilities in creating/modifying BI Publisher reports. Strong background in OBIA/ODI ETL implementation and modifications and capable of modifying ETL capabilities to solve identified gaps in the COTS product. In-depth knowledge of OFF R12 data structures and OBIA data warehouse metadata; maintenance of the OBIA data warehouse and enhancements to data structures. Knowledge of standard OBIA applications - including Budget Summary/Detail, Analytics, Budget Spending Analytics, Budget Detail Analytics, Payables, Analytics Purchasing and General Ledger. Extensive Oracle OBIA/OBIEE application experience including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and report development. 5 years of experience with implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) for Financials, Procurement & Spend, and Projects in an E-Business Suite (EBS) release 12 environment, using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Knowledge in all facets of the OBIEE architecture to include WebLogic user account maintenance (in a SAML 2.0/ADFS environment), maintenance of the OBIEE RPD Metadata structures and OBIEE optimization. Capabilities in designing/creating/modifying Oracle APEX applications and reports, to include form (Users Interface) design experience. Experience working with APEX Administration is a plus. Technical writing skill and experience documenting report requirements and standard operating procedures in a financial systems environment. Ability to work on multiple tasks on an ongoing basis. Ability to work within the construct of a team environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. 5+ years of Federal Financial experience working with a federal agency. 5+ years designing and developing standard and COTS BI reports, dashboards, and ad hoc query capability. Experience gathering requirements then identifying, analyzing, and documenting gaps between the capabilities of the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) OBIA product and user requirements. Strong data integration skills. Experience developing unit test plans, performing unit tests, and documenting the results. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and evaluation skills. Strong communication skills and comfortable working with end users to extrapolate requirements. Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain TSA Suitability.
