Summary The scheduling coordinator is primarily responsible for managing telecommunications network service request and incidents from beginning to end. This includes regular communications (phone/email) with customers that notify the Network Operations Center (NOC) of telecommunication issues for any device connected to the telecommunication systems. What You’ll Do Answer calls that come into the Network Operations Center (NOC). Create and close service request and incident tickets in the work asset management system - WAM/Maximo Create incident tickets in ServiceNow Coordinate with NOC dispatchers Monitor Microsoft Outlook email for incidents Monitor chat in Microsoft Teams Manage and report after hour service requests and incidents Assign reactive maintenance work to SRP Telecom technicians Add comments to Network Management Systems Send informational e-mail alerts to the Telecommunications organization Troubleshoot using Station Entry Log Competencies Customer Service Oriented – Communicate effectively with customers and technical personnel Composed – Work effectively under pressure Feedback Oriented – Accept constructive criticism well Knowledge-Seeking – Willing to ask questions and find answers Problem Solving and Critical Thinking - Properly assign service requests and incidents to telecommunication dispatchers and technicians Flexible – Able to accept and work with constant change Positive – Exhibit enthusiasm and be personable Technical – Familiar with technology and equipment used in telecommunications Driven – Self-motivated and able to work with minimal guidance
