About the Role: Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer/ Disaster Recovery Engineer Day-to-Day: Ascendion is looking for a SRE to help with an upcoming Disaster Recovery work. This person should be strong standing up observability capabilities from the ground up be working on migration for large database, help with automation work and help monitor all aspects of the SRE process for the application. The person should have a good foundation working with traditional cloud and SRE tools for monitoring and observability. Must Haves: Observatory/ Monitoring tools - Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace (Splunk will be useful first 3-6 months) Disaster Recovery implementation capabilities Experience with private cloud deployment. Kafka experience AWS Cloud tech Deployment Skills Route 53; Mongo; Kafka; Lambda; Kubernetes Rancher Axway is preferred. Location: Remote Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $80,000 – $92,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skill, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
