Industrial Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor will oversee a team of maintenance technicians and ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of all machinery and equipment within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent technical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring progress.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory levels.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff on proper maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs by optimizing resources, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies related to maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least [X] years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to industrial maintenance activities.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
