Position: Building Maintenance Technician 

Location: Norfolk, VA

Pay: $20/hr

Experience: Electrical, plumbing and HVAC experience required; must have own tools

Education: High school diploma or GED 

Type: Full-time; Contract 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

HireOne is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team! 

 

Job Description: 

• Ensure buildings remain in good repair
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment
• Repair concrete, stucco, and engines
• Maintain inventory management and order parts, supplies, and equipment as needed
• Prepare, paint, and texture walls and other surfaces
• Perform routine inspections and/or preventive maintenance
• Handle customer complaints with empathy, defusing tension and finding quick solutions
• Lift and move objects without the aid of machinery
