Wiring Technician - 1st and 2nd Shift!

Our client in Louisville is looking for a Wiring Technician to join their team! Shift 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm 2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00am Pay $18.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience Responsibilities Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine material requirements or assembly instructions. Assemble electrical systems and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or conduit using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment. Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications. Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly. Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths. Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments. Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan, review work activities, or to resolve production problems. Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for operation and record results. Identify items that are stock inventory so they can be tracked. Must be mechanically / electrically inclined and be able to work with minimum supervision Complete all other duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and physical. Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check. Ability to lift 50 + lbs, climb ladders, stand, or kneel for extended periods of time. Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures.
