Summer Analyst Program

The Opportunity:

The Analyst Intern program requires a commitment of 40-hours per week over the course of a minimum of 12-weeks in Houston, Texas, throughout the summer of 2024. This is an on-site opportunity. No remote or hybrid work opportunities are available. You must be able to reliability commute to the Houston office daily. This is a paid internship commiserate with your experience and education.


The opportunity provides a graduate level MBA student the opportunity to receive invaluable exposure to the private equity industry and a practical introduction to finance and accounting functions, sales and marketing motions, business operations, strategic planning, and leadership development in a company with annual revenue around $30M.


Make an Impact:

The 2024 Summer Analyst will have the opportunity to plan and direct administrative, financial, and operational activities for the CEO and interact with members of the extended executive team daily.

· Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making for the CEO.

· Provide oversight and guidance to assigned projects.

· Focus on valuation analysis, operational management, and leadership development.

· Work on value-added projects to help you develop the skills necessary to succeed in future roles and help drive immediate business results for PCS teams that include one or more of the following: strategic planning, forecasting, resource allocation, setting corporate objectives, measuring performance against objectives, process optimization, vision and mission definition, cost benefit analysis, return on investment, and milestone definitions.

· Develop professional relationships with peers and senior colleagues.

· Receive training, coaching, and mentorship from individuals across the firm.

· Top performers of the summer analyst program may receive offers to join PCS Software, Inc. full-time post-graduation.

Technical Skills/Requirements:

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

· Prior experience in a corporate administration or project management role.

· Excellent communication and people skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with mastery knowledge in Excel

· Minimum GPA of 3.0 in your MBA program.

· Bachelor's degree in business or a STEM major.

· Prior corporate work experience is preferred.

· Ability to reliably commute daily to/from the PCS Houston, Texas office location. This position is on-site 5 days a week. This position is not open for hybrid or remote work options. If you cannot live in Houston for the duration of this internship, please do not apply.
