PURPOSE
Supervise operations of the theatre to ensure delivery of AMC's Mission, Strategy, and Challenge. Provide leadership and development to theatre personnel and communicate the expectations, Vision, and Values of the Company to all associates in a professional and safe work environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis.
* Basic working computer knowledge (Windows, Word, Excel).
* Ability to work in a fast pace environment
* Ability to interact with guests
* Verbal communication skills, and accurate math and cash handling skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Ensure delivery of the best possible out-of-home entertainment experience.
* Passionately lead theatre associates to do all of the following:
a. Deliver the GuestFirst principles of friendly, helpful, clean, and fast.
b. Maintain a Facility that is clean, safe, and in good repair.
c. Provide a Film Experience that is comfortable, distraction-free, and picture perfect.
d. Ensure that Food and Beverage products are fresh, appetizing, and properly prepared.
* Provide direct supervision and guidance to crew members.
* Ensure proper staffing in each area.
* Perform daily opening and closing operational duties.
* Oversee and complete theatre administrative reports.
* Reinforce guest and operational focus through MBWA (Managing By Walking Around).
* Develop crew members through guidance and training to achieve increasing levels of expertise.
* Ensure that crew members satisfy all AMC guest service standards.
* Review financial numbers, utilizing MIS reports on a regular basis as a management tool to optimize financial results and the guest experience.
* Take ownership of the successful completion of your training program.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Working knowledge of all Film Crew functions.
* Excellent training and development skills.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Effective analytical, planning and problem solving skills.
* Consistently meets deadlines.
* Work effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors and corporate partners.
* Operations Coordinator or commensurate retail experience preferred.
* Outstanding ability to listen, communicate, and work effectively with guests in high volume setting.
* Undergraduate degree preferred.
* Proven leadership skills.
* Proven ability to consistently deliver results with minimal supervision.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR EFB LOCATIONS
* Basic food handling skills as required by local and/or state regulations.
* Restaurant management experience preferred.
* Proficiency at all work stations in the kitchen.
* Complete knowledge of EFB menu.
* Working knowledge of all EFB associate functions.
* Obtain and Maintain current T.I.P.S. Certification, as applicable.
* Obtain any necessary alcohol service licensing.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
* Oversee an individual theatre department as assigned.
* Assist the General Manager with hiring, training, developing, and appropriately disciplining theatre associates. (This function will be assigned to the HR/GF Manager.)
* Assist the Senior Manager in achieving the guest service and financial goals associated with Food and Beverage. (This function will be assigned to the F&B Manager.)
* Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts per the Management Work Schedule Policy.
* Uphold AMC's Business Practice Standards and ensure compliance with company programs.
* All other functions as designated by the General Manager.

ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS FOR EFB LOCATIONS
* Maintain food quality through active participation in food expo position.
* Set expectations and hold associates accountable for alcohol enforcement strategies and age restriction policies.
* Work with appropriate vendors (alcoholic, non-alcoholic) on a weekly basis to ensure sufficient stock levels.

TOOLS AND MACHINES USED AT FORK & SCREEN
Point-of-sale terminals, hand held devices, telephone, bottle openers and corkscrews, three-bay sinks with glass washer, beer distribution center various bar supplies including: glassware, various utensils, sharp objects, blenders and picks. In addition to but not limited to broom, mop, porter pan, bus trays and carts, spray bottles, popcorn warmers, ice bins, and scoops, convection and microwave ovens, Turbo-Chef, fryers, grills, warmers, mixers, walk-in coolers and freezers, dishwashers and general EFB or location-specific tools as appropriate.
ENVIRONMENT
* Offices, Box Office, and Guest Services – vary in size, may be fully enclosed, and are usually carpeted. Temperatures are generally moderate.
* Interior Work Areas – have moderate temperatures. Interior flooring may be carpeted, tile, and concrete. Auditorium floors are either stepped or sloped. Associate may encounter wet or slippery floor surfaces. In the concession stand, temperatures may range from moderate to hot.
* Exterior Work Areas – may have extreme temperatures depending on weather conditions.
* Projection Booths – are usually located upstairs above the main floor level and may be on several levels of the facility. The booths are often compact, but are usually adequately ventilated, well lit, and acoustically treated.

ADDITIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR FORK & SCREEN LOCATIONS
* Kitchen- may have moderate to hot temperatures. Cool to cold temperatures exist in the walk-in refrigerator and freezer. Flooring is tile in kitchen along with possible steel checker board flooring in the walk-in.
