Driver/Merchandiser/Warehouse associate

Company Overview: Circle City Deli Provisions is an Independent distribution company that provides Boar's Head brand deli products to supermarkets, universities and butchers shops in and around central Indiana.

Job Summary: Make deliveries via truck to customers while adhering to all safety procedures. Load inventory on truck, unload at customer site, merchandise(put the product away), and pick orders in a refrigerated warehouse setting.

Major Responsibilities and Key Accountability:

-Performs routine inspection of vehicle and supplies to ensure road safety.

- Plans route to and from customers' businesses and adjusts for traffic and/or construction.

- Must be a team player, and be able to communicate well with others.

- Delivers merchandise to customer

- Loads truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise and put away for customer.

- Picks orders to match manifest, twice weekly.

- Provides assistance to resolve customer issues. Work Environment:

- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

- Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, Refrigerated conditions, usually between 33-40 degrees.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Must pass the Drug Test

- Must pass the Background Check

- Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

Education and Experience: - HS Diploma or GED required. Generally 1-2 years of experience in areas of responsibility:

- 1-2 years truck driving experience helpful.

- Forklift certification beneficial

- Clean cut and presentable.

-Must be able to get started early. Some days you need to be clocked in between 5am-6am
