Job Title: Production Associate
Duties: It is important to note, this is not a temp to hire position, but is an indefinite assignment. If management notices a contingent worker is performing above and beyond, they may recommend the worker to other departments with full time opportunities. This does not happen often, but has for outstanding workers.
There may be 2-4 hours of mandatory over time per month. There is rarely OT on Saturdays. There is the opportunity for voluntary OT, approximately 8-10 hours per week.
Once workers are trained and performing at the expected level, they are permitted to wear earphones and listen to music during the work day.
Perform repetitive assembly of care kits/diabetic testing meters (this includes light assembly of the product and literature/instructions that go with it) Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day Pack shipping boxes, including labeling and palatalizing Perform general 5s and housekeeping duties as necessary. Perform other duties such as quality inspections, as assigned Must have excellent attendance
Skills
Comfortable with repetitive motions
Must be able to stand on feet for entire shift Adaptable/ Customer Service Oriented Work with a sense of urgency Attention to detail
