Currently recruiting for qualified Welding Inspectors to work on a contract to hire placement with one of our clients in New Braunfels, TX. Inspectors will perform internal and external inspections to determine if a weldment or equipment meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or
document. This is a shop manufacturing setting in a 500,000 sq. ft. facility.
Qualifications:
- Properly interpret regulations, codes and industry standards such as AWS, ASME.
- Be proficient with standard computer software and be able to write detailed inspection and shutdown reports while maintaining an organized system of files.
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in weld inspection related activities (QC, NDT, etc.).
- Desired: Certification as an Inspector (CWI).
Compensation depending on experience will range from $19.00 to $26.00/hr plus a 10% shift differential.
