POSITION OVERVIEW
The overall primary focus is to provide advice, consultation, and guidance to support a positive employee relations environment. Enhances employee engagement. Responsible for implementation, analysis and reporting of effectiveness levels for employee relations initiatives and programs, as directed by the Employee Relations Manager.

Qualifications: -Working knowledge of EEO and AAP Administration, Worker's Compensation, benefits and retirement administration, salary administration, labor relations and employment.
-Strong interpersonal skills - ability to communicate across all levels of management.
-Strong written communication skills and the ability to document effectively to satisfy all requirements.
-Strong Employee Relations and Conflict Resolutions skills.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft® Office Software including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Outlook Calendar.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-B.S. Degree from a four year college or equivalent experience.
-Five (5) years of experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations disciplines.
Performance Expectations:
-Serve as liaison between team members and site management, addressing and resolving concerns in the workplace as they arise.
-Offers feedback, advice, and appropriate mentoring to management members to increase the level of leadership effectiveness and employee engagement.
-Assists in the facilitation of training relative to employee relations, company procedures, policies, and leadership effectiveness, provide clear and concise communication to team members and supervisors.
-Assists the Employee Relations in Equal Employment Opportunity Claims, Employment and Labor, or other legal matters.
-Provide labor relations research (contract comparisons, arbitration awards, wage and benefits surveys) as needed.
-Assist with investigations of internal employee relations complaints, gives recommendations to management for the timely resolution of any internal complaints of discrimination, harassment and other employee issues.
-Develops a wide variety of written materials (e.g. forms, procedures, reports, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information
