As a part of our continued growth, we are searching for a Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our Phoenix, AZ team.


 


Primary Responsibilities of the Clinical Administrative Coordinator include:



  • Assist with benefit and eligibility verifications

  • Ensure appropriate referrals are sent to Case Management staff

  • Perform data collection, data entry and quality monitoring activities as applicable

  • Document case information completely, accurately and in a timely manner

  • Demonstrate sensitivity to issues and show pro-active behavior in addressing customer needs

  • Supportive responsibilities include all activities associated with supporting processes within Utilization Management; this includes all non-clinical functions

  • Provide ongoing support and education to team members

  • Optimize customer satisfaction, and positively impact productivity

  • Adherence to corporate requirements related to industry regulations/responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a medical office/physician office or other type of health care setting

  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with clinical issues

  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally

  


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience/knowledge with ICD9 and/or CPT codes

  • Experience/knowledge of HIPPA requirements

  • Managed care experience

  • Claims experience

  • Data entry experience

  • Call center experience
