Welding Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

Currently looking for qualified Welding Inspectors to fill contract to hire positions with one of our largest Manufacturing clients in New Braunfels, TX. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years experience in the Quality Assurance trade and have experience with:

• Perform internal and external inspections to determine if a weldment or equipment meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document.
• Use a computer to compile and submit daily reports and inspection reports, as well as for inter-office communications.
• Compile and submit completed inspection and nonconformance (NCR) reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• 2 years' experience in weld inspection related activities (QC, NDT, etc.).
• Perferred Certification as an Inspector (CWI).
• Properly interpret regulations, codes and industry standards such as AWS, ASME section IX, & AWS D1.1, B 31.1, B 31.3.

Compensation depending on experience will range from $18.00 to $25.00/hr.
