Environmental Project Manager

Aerotek Environmental is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager for a permanent position with our client, a National Environmental Consulting firm to the commercial real estate industry. The Lead Project Manager will serve as the subject matter expert and go-to person for all projects dealing with inspection and/or abatement of lead paint. The Lead Project Manager will be in charge of consulting with various clients on a day to day basis to ensure that all regulations are met. It is imperative for candidates to have a Lead Inspector License in either VA/MD/ DC, preferablly MD/DC as these regulations are a little more strict. Risk Assessor License is a plus.

breakdown of responsibilities:
60% will be client interactions/inspections, walking sites and discussing regulation issues.
30% writing reports
10% if lead slows down they could be picking up other environmental consutling tasks..i.e mold ,moisutre, air quality..whichever they are most versed in.

Candidates for Lead Project Manager should expect to do daily inspections and walk-throughs with clients. They should be knowledgeable enough within LEAD to consult and come up with safe solutions for the clients. As mentioned they will be the primary point of contact for this segment so they should have the desire and ownership to be the primary point of contact.

Candidates for Lead Project Manager Must Have:

-Active Lead inspector license

-2-8 years of experience performing Lead inspections preferable in a consulting environment

-Excellent Client Interaction skills

-Proficient in MS Office Suite

-Reliable Transportation to travel to and from job sites
