We have a full-time/part-time opening for a 1st Shift Shipping & Receiving Lead.

Manpower of Farmington Hills is looking to hire a Shipping & Receiving Lead associate for one of their longstanding clients based in Novi, MI. This is a contract to hire opportunity for the right candidates who show dedication and motivation. Shift: day shift, 9 hours Pay: $15.00 per hour. Job Description: - Unloading trucks, checking in materials, matching purchase orders to sales orders. - Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. - Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. - Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. - Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department. Job qualifications/requirements: * 1 year of previous Hilo/Forklift experience * 1 year of previous shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment * Experience leading a team in any capacity * Minimum of 3 months Hilo experience; training certification given by previous employer * Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check. * Steel toe boots or shoes are REQUIRED * Able to lift 50lbs continuously throughout the day For immediate consideration, please apply to this posting or apply directly through Manpower at Manpowerjobs.com .
