BSHSI POSITION SUMMARY The Medical Assistant is responsible to support licensed practitioners in the provision of high quality medical care to all patients. They are chiefly accountable for efficient patient flow within the practice. They are also responsible for non-clinical office functions as outlined below.JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Medical Assistants must be a high school graduate or have a GED. 2. Prior medical office experience preferred. 3. Candidates must obtain certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants or have an AAMACertification for CPOE orders. 4.
