SHIFT: 8HOUR, Varied EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Seasonal/Casual/OnCall/Supplemental HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 16 JOB ID: 1500016821
Under direct supervision the incumbentwill protect hospital building, property and materials. Incumbent will alsoprotect employees, patients, visitors, customer and business partners, andprovide them with assistance and direction. Incumbent will maintain order andcontrol of foot and vehicular traffic on the grounds and public areas. Inaddition, the incumbent will appropriately handle all calls for service whichincludes responding to all emergency alarms and codes quickly and efficiently.The position reports to the Manager SA Security.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
6 months as a Security Officer
High school diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
State of California Guard Card
PREFERRED:
1 year as a hospital Security Officer and previous law enforcement
AA degree in Criminal Justice
International Healthcare Security and Safety certification
