Physician's Assistant (Full Time) - Full-time / Part-time

Responsible for performing detailed history and physical on all patients, diagnose and treat patients, order appropriate tests/procedures, and prescribe medications for specific diagnosis, simple suturing, assist surgeon in surgery, interpret x-rays, CT, MRI and bone scans, lab results, I&D of abscess, joint and bursa aspirations, brace, cast and splint applications. Interpret and correlate subjective and objective data to formulate a differential diagnosis and establish a working diagnosis. Formulate a treatment plan for problems within the scope of practice. Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions when appropriate. Exercise judgment on problem requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising physician or other healthcare professionals. Age groups served will be infant, child, adult, geriatric.

Physician Assistant from an accredited university with a current Georgia license. 2-5 years working as a PA in clinic or hospital settings preferred. Will consider a new graduate.
