Our undergraduate summer internships are a great way to gain confidence, sharpen your skills and make a difference.

You'll work side by side with people who value your enthusiasm and creativity. Internships typically last 10 to 12 weeks, 40 hours a week, from June to August. You'll be assigned to a business area and work on tasks you would experience if you worked here full time. Interns also participate in:

POSITION SUMMARY :

Aetna's DocFind Provider Search Tool team is looking for a qualified college intern to join us. The DocFind team is a dynamic business unit that supports one of Aetna's most frequently used web assets through website utilization analysis, enhancements, serving as liaisons to our IT partners and servicing our internal and external customer needs. The teams focus is on delivery and maintenance of a high quality product that matches our evolving business needs and those of the health insurance industry.

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS:

Support enhancement work for DocFind Provider Search tool either as a project lead or supporting a project lead (attend planning and discovery sessions, work closely with technical team, participate in user acceptance testing and check out etc.)

Support team members with weekly content updates (develop content with appropriate business areas, ensure legal approval and compliance with web standards and perform user testing of changes).

Support review of, documentation and overhaul of current policies, procedures, training, and communication materials within the team.

Support DocFind day to day operational tasks (researching reported problems or requests, collaboration with internal customers, other technical support teams, and vendors to resolve.)

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

* 3.0 GPA

* Strong professional written and verbal communication skills

* Experience working in team settings on project work

* The ability to work independently to complete tasks based on direction given

EDUCATION:

Current college student pursing a bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Management Information Systems or similar quantitative fields of study.
