Technical Writer 4 - Enterprise Information Security Technical Writer and SharePoint Designer

The Internal Process Support team within Cybersecurity Defense and Monitoring is looking for motivated candidates who thrive in a fast paced environment and like to work on diverse projects. The Technical Writer 4 position is responsible for creating and updating documentation and visible communication across various teams, applications, and security products across the Enterprise Information Security footprint. Additionally, this position will focus on a recent team service offering which includes SharePoint design.

Create and revise documents and communication mechanisms (including SharePoint) across diverse Information Security teams and products using Brand Standards Draft, edit, and format complex manuals and project artifacts Work with project management, project teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop clear documentation on policies, procedures, quick reference guides, and other artifacts Edit content for grammatical correctness and adapt it to different audiences, produce a single voice, or improve the content and layout. Design SharePoint sites for work groups or teams that are easy to navigate, consistent, and utilize SharePoint features and workflows for automation Actively participate in detailed discussions with application teams, project teams, operations staff, peers, and senior management to document solutions and exceed our business partner needs and expectations Listen to business partner needs and offer consulting recommendations which align to best practices and maximize effectiveness Assist manager and team with other tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

Process definition and documentation experience Extensive knowledge and understanding of professional technical writing processes and tools Advanced Microsoft Office skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge and understanding of maintaining and updating SharePoint team web content Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications Experience managing communications and documentation projects Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation: creation of detailed design and technical artifacts Knowledge and understanding of operational processes BS/BA or higher in English, journalism, professional writing, creative writing, education, or communications Ability to simultaneously lead multiple projects Strong research and documentation skills Ability to advise end users on version control concepts/procedures and create clear, written guidelines for common scenarios Ability to present complex concepts to senior management Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important Knowledge and understanding of creation of Screen Mockups using SnagIt or equivalent screen capturing software
